Well everyone, it is almost time...
It has been quite the crazy week. Trying to finish all my school work while packing and cleaning the apartment and packing for 4 months (2 of which will be in 30 degree weather and the other 2 in typical FL/Bahamas hotness.) Oh yeah, and trying to spend time with friends. My head is spinning! I fly home tomorrow for a little visit with the family before coming back Friday.
Sunday is the big day. I finally received my travel itinerary and contract :) I depart Orlando Sunday night at 9:30ish pm and get to Frankfurt, Germany 9 hours later. Then I get to take an hr long fight to Bremen, Germany where hopefully I will meet up with someone holding a sign saying DCL haha. If not, I might be in Bremen airport in a while trying to figure out how to get to my next destination. My final stop is Papenburg, Germany where the ship is being built. I arrive in Papenburg 11/1 and spend 2 nights in a hotel. There is not much in Papenburg and probably only 1 1/2 hotels, so I am sure there will be plenty to talk about my first couple days :) I will have traditions on 11/2 and report to my first day on the ship (I think) on 11/3. Everything for me is kind of unknown right now, everything is crazy for DCL so I will know more when I get there.
It's very bitter sweet right now. So excited to get going on this "Dream" Adventure but I will miss you all!
Well, I will see you all in 4 months, but keep reading and I'll keep you posted! :)

My New Adventure
The first thing that comes to my mind when beginning to write this is, why? I actually have no idea. I am not a fan of blogs, and quite frankly, I think that most people just do them to get attention or just to have another way of hearing themselves talk. :) Now even though I do like attention, quite a bit, I hate my writing style, and think I look stupid on video... So again, I do not know why I am doing this, or how long it will last, but it is worth a shot! Right?!
So as you may or may not know, I am beginning a new adventure with the Disney Cruise Line. Communication will be limited, especially for those of you whom I will not mind being away from for 4 months at a time. Only kidding! But really, I will be working 70+ hours a week, and will have limited access to Internet and phone. I figured it might be easier to reach the masses with one of these things. I had some requests to put up pictures and videos and such from my little adventure, mainly because I think people want to see the ship before anyone else, but I'll keep telling myself it is because they want to see how I am doing :)
I thank you in advance for reading this, and let me know if there is anything in particular that you would like to hear about, or see. Obviously I am looking to keep this job, well at least not get fired from it right away, so just understand that there are certain things that I might not be able to disclose because of top secret Mickey Magic :) I promise to keep it as entertaining and interesting as possible!
